Purpose

 

  • To provide a professional forum for educators to share their work and experience with their peers.

  • To provide teachers with examples and rationales that will enhance and enrich their teaching experience.

  • To offer practical applications for theoretical research.

  • To strengthen pedagogical cooperation among all denominations and all levels of Jewish Education.

 

Methodika is an annual publication for professionals in Jewish education (regardless of denominational affiliation), distinctively dedicated to practical issues of classroom instruction. It contains methodological papers contributed by instructors and/or researchers in the following fields: Hebrew Language, Hebrew Literature (in Hebrew or in translation), Biblical Studies, Rabbinics, Jewish History and Jewish Thought.

Papers will be published in English or in Hebrew, with a synopsis in the other language. These papers will be available in other languages, such as Spanish, per request and for an additional fee.
